The Biggest Joke in The Universe
Here is the biggest joke in the Universe
“Who did you belong to today?”
Before you were even born, you belonged to your parents.
They were planning you.(most of the time)
When you were conceived, you belonged too… they were
expecting you.
Then you belonged to them.
and then…
Not even a few months pass, before you are baptized or
taken into a sect or religion.
After that… you belonged to friendships and
relationships.
Now you are a sister, or a brother too, maybe…
Very soon, you belonged to a school, then a college, or
University.
At this time you also belong to a Government, a
country…
Then a career.
Then you take a role of a mother, or father, uncle,
aunt… and you belong to your kids.
Then a retirement plan.
AND then….
Even when you die. The mourners will point and cry and
say “Look, this is my corpse.”
What a big joke!
All your life you spend every second belonging to
something, or someone, in unconscious possession.
What a joke.
Take just one second and own your own self. Just one
second be completely free and see through all your
illusions. Live one second completely for yourself.
You may be shocked at what arises.
Look at all your beliefs, and thoughts throughout
the day. Does any of it really make any sense?
What if none of it was a choice at all?
What if all of it arose from complete choicelessness?
All based on an innocent misunderstanding that you are a
human being bound by cirumstances trying to achieve a
fulfilling and happy experience.
When in fact… you are the One, having a human
experience.
Love,
Kacper

hi there!
Wow, this is so true. We belong to nobody. We are free. When we make choices about us for us we are being real. It isn’t easy after a lifelong pattern of belonging to everyone else, but wow it is so liberating!
Have a wonderfilled day,
Love Blue

This is what has been in my thoughts throughout the day. We are composed of simple elements… simple components. Water is a big part of who we are. We are like water that flows in a river… falsely believing that we belong to something or that somethings belong to us when in fact we are merely a part of a greatness much like that river flowing back into the ocean.

Dear Kacper,
This “universal joke” is actually “part and parcel”
for every individual to go through his or her own
Journey of Life on Earth, depending on which path
God wants us to choose within our own free will.
God always Bless All of Us !

Hi Kacper …
Thanks for “The Biggest Joke in The Universe” - Interesting stuff. I have always thought similarly to your closing statements … that we humans aren’t having a spiritual experience, but we are actually spiritual beings having a human experience.
Thanks;
Tony.

Hi Kacper,
It’s always wonderful to do mind-travel with you…
These are powerful questions, and also very defining ones.
Who, what and where we belong to is so strong in
the way we perceive ourselves as beings.
Such a liberating thought, to just transmit this into the
cosmic harddrive: I am a vibrational being!
I think, I feel, I create.
My world is an expression of what I choose to express,
and I am co-creating with that (and those) which I choose
to resonate with.
Owned by no man, thing or context, I’m as free as when I came!
Stripped layer by layer, my physical, emotional and spiritual being
leaves no trace of what I am except that which I choose to express.
I am a vibrational being. And as I express my desire
to be, the universe resonates with me. In joy
All the best,
>wave

Kacper…
I agree with you on many of your posts but here are
a couple of thoughts that come to mind when thinking about
these ideas.
So - if I’m the ONE coming to this existance in order
to have human experiences…
Should I even try to remember who I truly AM?
Wasn’t it done on purpose that I’ll forget my
true self so I’ll be able to experience this existance
to it’s full potential?
I am now toying with the idea that maybe this
life is not much different than a virtual
role playing computer game.
Only unlike World of Warcraft… our memory is
erased before I enter the game, to be able
to EXPERIENCE it to it’s full potential.
There’s no harm done, it’s all virtual,
yet I will not remember that it is not real.
So why are we all so eager to remember
our origins?
Not long ago I believed that we were put here
to allow the ONE origin to experience things
through being and not just KNOWING.
I believed that we chose what we were going
to experience, will I be poor this life,
will I be rich, will I be violent or a victim
of violence.
This belief kept me protected.
I knew that life is what my soul chose it to be.
Yet know, things are shifting for me.
I now think that our life IS random.
It’s still not real… it’s still a mirage yet
it is a random experience and luck has a lot
to do with what we are.
Thanks for your posts and newsletter emails.

I try to live my life in the present, and i am glad for you to remind me.

Thanks Kacper! And this big joke shows that God has a well-developed sense of humour! Don’t we each feel more connected with God when we laugh? Does this mean the best chance for peace in the Middlle East is to just drop loads of laughing gas all over those countries?
April 24th, 2006 at 9:28 am
It was so beautiful. I stopped reading and tried to feel the belonging to myself for a second. When I got to “What if all of it arose from complete choicelessness” and then I didn’t understand it anymore. The rest was still more confusing. Will you write more on this to help me understand?
April 24th, 2006 at 10:11 am
Kacper, you summed it all up in your last sentence: you are the One, having a human experience.
Some days this is hard to remember, struggling with bills to pay and children to feed and always too much work to do. It is easier to do things in this world in a corporeal body, but the mundane details of life sometimes prevent us from seeing the truth of our existence.
Thanks for the reminder.
Love and Blessings,
Alice

Great point made Kacper! This argument has a corollary. If we are infinite spirit bound by illusory circumstance, that we had no choice in creating, then this also means that we can choose to become whomever we want to be. This is the true power of living a free and creative life. We decide who we are, not the external circumstances of life.

That’s funny you say that Kacper. I’ve just ended an 18 year marriage because I’ve grown and he hasn’t. For the past five years I’d been seeing my life as going nowhere. I was going to work, going home, going to the grocery store, going to the laundromat. That was all I saw my life doing. Going places to take care of other peoples needs and neglecting my own. I don’t believe there is anything wrong with taking care of others needs however, when you neglect yourself, life becomes stagnant. Right now though parts of my life is heading in directions I want them going and other parts of my life are on pause because I haven’t figured out how to move on. I do know that everyday I am learning something. I think when you stop learning you are dead - I don’t mean that literally. Anyhow, thank you for the lesson. I learned something today. I learned to take a step back and re-examine some parts of my life to see where I want to go.

I love it, I love the thought and the truth. I love the enlightenment. However brief the moment, its worth all the years we spend on this earth just to have that one experience. Complete and total.
Thank you for the reminder

Oh my! I really needed this one today … may the Universe allow me to see myself each day as the ONE having an earthly experience! I work in an environment where physical (paper, people and paraphernalia)productivity is demanded, by a manager who is the epitome of non-productivity. It is so easy to become trapped in the mundane physical, and to levy criticism at this manager. How misguided and uninspired! After all, SHE is also the One, experiencing an earthly existence …
Thank you!

What is so wrong is belonging that is human nature. I think the real important issue is do you have your own values and belief systems, don’t believe everthing . Just take a little bit of good from all that is around you and love yourself, take a minute and hug yourself because life is truly a gift. Then you are able to love the world around you and then you are able to fit in somewhere, because everyone needs a place to belong.
April 28th, 2006 at 12:29 pm
Kacper thank you for your inspiring statement, very rarely do we pause to cconsider that we are very important and that we should try to limit the demands on ourselves and focus more on what we as a person want from life so as to live a better and less stressful time on earth.rgds Oscar

I have been troubled on this question for so long and now here’s the answer i have trouble acceptring thinking it was selfish.
Living Angel, you are the sunshine.

We belong to nobody except one “The Creator”. Of course, the creator has let us live our own life, our own free will in this very World. We cannot leave this world or make another world. All ends up either Good or Bad, Reward or Punishment. Its upto us, it is our choice.

Dear Kacper,
I was reading the 30 responses above and felt the frustration of some people who are caught in the daily demands of life, struggling to survive another day… a trap that feels so familiar to me. Then I realized what this is all about.
SELF LOVE.
This is the missing piece. This is what is lacking from our perception of our own daily challenges, which make us see unsatisfactory and unacceptable conditions. How can we love and enjoy anything when we judge and reject ourselves?
On the other hand, what would it be like if we loved ourselves UNCONDITIONALLY… truly and undoubtedly loved ourselves? How would we experience the daily mishaps when they occur… like being caught in a traffic jam, a returned check, an angry boss, a pain the body or a sick child? Will we forget who we are and what we are, or will we stay FREE in knowing our True-Self?
Imagine this world when more people are loving themselves. But start imagining yourself loving yourself first. Make it your #1 priority. Ask yourself what would it take for you to fall in love with yourself and integrate SELF LOVE as your permanent reality. Then do what it takes. Don’t live another day without creating evidence to how loveable you are. Make a mountain of evidence.
Kacper, please give a sign that you read this response. I want to ask you to address this important topic of self-love in a future article more directly. People all over the world don’t know how to stop their self-abnegation and how to turn their negative self-image around. I know you’ll come up with an amazingly inspiring piece on this subject. WE ALL NEED IT. (I know I sound like an addict here… True, I became addicted to reading you… and I love myself for that.)
Love and Blessings from the Essence That Connects,
Alexander

Life is beautiful!
May 4th, 2006 at 10:38 pm
Kacper,
I very much enjoy your perspective on items. I have been reading the responses to this blog. I believe we are all spirit children of a loving Heavenly Father who wants us to progress. We need an earthly experience to continue to progress, and our Father has given us agency to choose what we do in this mortal experience. We learn from ancient teachings that “Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy” Life is such a wonderful blessing - every second of every day, and we need to ‘recieve’ the joy that is waiting for us, unconditionally, to partake.

I don’t take this personally, but.
Is it not the god part of life to belong to someone, to be there for someone, love someone and be loved.
I maybe did not understand the point to 100% but I feel that there is many people who not belong someone and therefore live in streets and lonely. And I cant see it as something positive.

Dear Kacper,
Your sharing gives me an inspirational thought to ponder.
“No matter how you perceive it, the human lives,
are always GOD’s creation”.
We should always thank HIM, Who generated
“LOVE” to/for our parents who teach and help us
from childhood to adulthood whether
through hardship or fortune.
May our Good LORD always Bless ALL of us.

Hey the article was interesting.but for me it was intereting coz nobody accepted and pointed out the fact that we cant deny that we all despite the postion and job or qualifications , belong to the GOD.
isn’t it true???????
So think of your selves and tell me who can deny this!
